Dave was the complete professional during the purchase of our house in San Diego. Even when things got weird during escrow (the owner died and the executor of the will/trust was not who everyone thought it was going to be) he was able to manage all the variables and personalities involved and still get the deal done on time. Not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination. He has a wealth of local knowledge about both real estate and the local area. I've already referred him to several friends and acquaintances. -

My partner and I were interested in buying a 2nd home/vacation condo in San Diego. We had very specific requirements. We met with Dave in August 2020 and felt very confident to work with Dave. A true professional. He took the time to fully understand our needs. When we would be looking at property, we would always count on him to point out issues or concerns we did not see. Once we found our condo in October 2020, he made sure everything was in order for the 21-day close we had requested. I used Dave Dennis' services twice, first time in 2006 to buy the house, and again in 2020 to sell the same house. It was a pleasure to work with Dave. He always had a sage advice and his network of supporting people (landscapers, designers, staging experts, repair people) is immense. The sale of the house occurred during the first wave of the pandemic, where regulations kept changing daily, every surface had to be cleaned multiple times, we didn't even know how the viewings were to be done. We lost the first customer due to Covid-19-related loan issues, but Dave's perseverence resulted in more showings and a quick sale. His optimism while keeping realistic perspective was a major asset and I would not hesitate to work with Dave again. Highly recommend. -

Dave was aggressive in helping us find a great deal for our first townhome purchase. He approached a seller who was putting his home on the market. The next day, Dave called the seller’s realtor and negotiated a great deal before the townhome was even available to the general public. We saved nearly $12,000 because of his efforts! Over the years we have become friends and we can’t recommend Dave highly enough!! P.S. Dave actually saved our expensive fish after we had a minor emergency our first night. He drove over with an extension cord and saved the day! :)
